I disagree because I feel like a real sneakerhead doesnt stop at just jordans but collects all around HEAT. Nike, Reebok, Aasics, etc ya know?

I say it's anyone who has a lot of knowledge about sneakers. They don't necessarily need to collect kicks, just enjoy researching and looking at them. I'd consider myself a sneakerhead but i've only got about 6 or 7 pairs of kicks i wear

Someone who knows sneakers, I mean the theory part and other stuff who also happens to collect any sneaker of sort. Not only Js, but even the likes of Uptowns, LBJs, Kobes, Yeezys, high-end sneakers, Ronnie Fiegs, Pumas, Shelltoes, etc.

Most Nikes these days have more hype than Jordans. What's the most hyped Jordan? The Bred XI? Whatever. Both South Beaches, Galaxy Foams, Yeezys, etc. make the Bred XIs look like a walk in the park. Jordans these days aren't even that hyped anymore compare to their Nike counterparts.
But what "real sneakerhead" will go nuts and camp out or RSVP an Adidas or Reebok the same way they would a Nike or Jordan? Why is it that Nike is the only company that needs a riot squad when they release some shoes but Adidas and Reebok don't? What Reebok or Adidas shoe will go up to $1,000 resell value the way some Nikes do? Why is it that resellers are only a problem with Nikes but not Adidas or Reebok?

Nike's marketing department is the business. The irony is that Reebok used to produce real decent shoes, a lot of them with better performance and quality than most nikes.

^Another irony is that Nike has paid $0 for most of their marketing. Remember the AF1 era? The SB era? There were no advertisements on those. When was the last time you saw a Jordan retro commercial on TV? When did you see an ad in a magazine for the Galaxy Pack? The fact is, it's the hypebeasts that are doing Nike's marketing for them... For free.
Another thing is, Reebok and Adidas use actual ads such as TV commercials to market their shoes. Nike, all they need are a couple camera shots.

Well, I would define myself as a sneakerhead with the subtitle "Air Jordan Collector" as I mainly collect the Air Jordan main line and nothing else.
I also have some Penny Hardaways and Lebrons but they don't have the same value level for myself.
Someone who only likes a certain brand cannot be labelled as a sneakerhead?
That sounds like if someone who only likes fighter jets of a certain country cannot be labelled as a fighter jet enthusiast anymore?

It started at suede pumas for me & went through Top Tens, Forums, then jordans came out boom! Then Eleases, didadora, fila, reebok, Lottos, le coque sportif, troops (for those that remember), then flight series, air maxes, BO's, then huaraches, & I've had 90% of all of them even Grant Hill Filas, Nomo's, Griffeys, Frank Thomas,
All of these & I dont have any of them. I got about 30-40 pairs of shoes (vans to Concords) & 1 DS double up of AM90's but I wear all of them.
I think of the retros like old flames when I was younger. So when I see that bad beaach from campus & highschool who is still as attractive as the day I first saw her I go online & read about her untill the day shes ready for me to pick her up by any means necessary, like one of a few connects, or over paying online. When you have to have her & you wake up & shes on your mind. That being said I have to admit that the love for the J's is fading with amount of hype & fakes, & people that are in it to make a $100.
I know I got carried away, I love kicks. I dont like the term, & I do not call myself a sneakerhead. If I had to name a sneakerhead, I would say someone like Clark Kent, he is so up on kicks he even has his own for just that reason.

Flight series-check. Grant Hill Filas-Check. Ran into my college roommate last year. 1st thing he asked was "Do you still keep all your shoes organized in boxes?". Yep. Then "You still clean 'em after every wear". Yep. That's what it's about. Peace.

a sneakerhead is a highschool kid who likes wearing the same shoes they see people on tv wearing, when referring to my self i would use the term "collector". I always have been a bit of a hoarder whether its shoes, baseball cards, comics, action figures and anything else I'm into.

A sneaker head is just someone who buys shoes and doesn't realize they are meant to be worn. So their heads are filled with *&^%. Usually drives a BMW.
