what is the craziest thing that happened to you or you have seen while camping out for some jordans

Nikestore Atlanta, elderly lady was there and it was the doernbecher 6 release. Folks bum rushed lenoxx mall, I was first in line, looked back cuz I was runninfull speed, folks done knocked down the elderly lady, she had to be about 80 years old easy. Felt kinda bad. Another 1, at athelets foot west end in Atlanta,me and my boys went to the midnight release for the grape 5s, those junkies, I tell you, anything for some change, junkies had a Harlem shake contest, for thechange, den asked everybody in line for money, we said why? Dey said I need sum chicken, we knee what kinda chicken dey wanted tho, lmao!

when i lived in long island i camped at roosevelt field for chambray 7's...waited like 6 hours thanks to the hype just to find out they only had like 4pairs cuz footaction employees gobbled em all up...i was livid...wish i camped for DMP but didnt and ended up getting a ds pair off my boy for 600 a couplemonths ago...props to those who were at roosevelt field at 10 the night before im sure it was worth it

Does this count? I was in line for Modern Warfare 2, the first guy in line had been waiting for 12 plus hours. The time finally comes to let people in, he getshis game and comes out, shoves the game in everyones face, and gets in his car. As he pulls out he nails the car next to him and everyone looks and watches ashe trys to book it out. Because of the midnight release there were cops everywhere and we got to watch him get chased down by two cop cars...

So basically, he waited multiple hours to get a game, and probably spent the rest of the night in jail.

There was a brawl at champs here in chicago when the grapes came out. Major pain in the butt because we had to wait for the cops to clear out before we could pay. very annoying. its shoes people.

didn't camp..but on the rd of the 6/17 pack I got to the malll like 2 hours early there were only 3 other people waiting ...so the door open the first guygoes in and gets his sz 11 and the next guy goes in and the employee tell there only sz 9 and down left... I'm a sz12..keep in mind he is the second personto go in all these other people show and it so happen they walked out wit there pair... ended up take a trip to harlem the next day and got lucky at afootaction...thanks Nick

This probably the main reason behind why the horror stories that you hear about pop off. It's bad enough that you already have to factor in the quantitiesof shoes that a store will get in the 1st place and the number that employees will take for themselves. It's no surprise that people wind up clapped whenyou have dudes who think they can punk/hustle people who beat them to the door and chicks who try to slick their way in front you. Straight up robbery is apossible runner-up.

the only time I've ever "camped" was for the 11/12 cdp at smithaven mall and nothing crazy went down.

My local footaction got like 20 pairs or something when the grape 5's dropped. I was liked 10th in line. When it was release time they were gone quick.Need less to say I didnt get mine...yet. Everyone broke out. I waited until the store [about an hour] opened and went in to copp a pair of dunks I wanted. Andto my surprise GRAPES, in my size too. Turns out employee was holding them for someone [shady stuff] and person called and said they got them elsewhere. Not a''crazy'' story but the only time I have had good luck on a crazy release. I dont camp since then though.

Black/Caro V release, I was at the Eastover SC, when someone got a call from someone at the DTLR on H St, and said the whole line got jacked......

At the Grape release, I was at Iverson, and seen this kid get strong armed for his shoes. I felt kind of bad, but he let the guy just straight punk him.

Damn Iverson Mall Is Always A Last Resort For Me But The Worst Ive Seen Was At Iverson Mall During The Cool Grey XI Release The Entire Line Was Robbed For CashAnd The Shoes If They Had Heat. I was trying to cop a second 11/12 pack(had my first place card at NTLV) at the galleria mall on sunset and seen some comedy....first thing was some dudeshowed up in a taxi lookin like malibu's most wanted....So he left his phone in the taxi and was trippin....people asked him what kind of phone he had andhe said.."I GOT THAT CRICKET ON DECK"...

....awwwww man the comedians in line roasted dude for the next 2hours....Then some kid who was'nt even in line(he was just part of his crew)hustledthe same taxi cab pimp for a fake spot in line...kid ran the.... "50 DOLLARS FOR MY SPOT IN LINE" and dude fell for it......i was like..

I never had a problem with sneakers but when I purchased my DMP's (11/6), the store didn't open the doors until the cops came. Once the cops arrived,they allowed the first 10 people in to purchase sneakers. The store only had 15 pairs. Once I purchased my sneakers, I was escorted out the back door.
From what I could see, people were mobbing to try and get one of the last remaining pairs of sneakers.
