i'm trynna make some money off my music and i got a lot of people where i live who wanna buy my stuff but i dont know where to start.
im thinkin about makin a mixtape.
what is the first step i need to take?
and what if i wanted to start a small record label? how do i do that?

He'd still need to copyright his words, just not the beats.

OP u'd have to send in the OG copies of your songs (on paper) in to get copywritten. It's $35-50/ song, etc so I'd suggest u put em under 1 namei.e. the name of the mixtape so it'll be cheaper for you.
