Right now I'm using eset nod32 for my laptop, but it's becoming too much of a pain with looking for usernames & passwords every time it's trying to update the virus signature database. So, I'm asking you all what do you use to remove viruses and block malware? Free software is preferred.

Stop pirating it then and buy it. I'm sorry, but I found it ridiculous that looking for cracked usernames and passwords is getting to be too troublesome for a suite that would probably cost the price to fill your tank.

That being said, use MalwareBytes, Spybot Search & Destroy, and AVAST or AVG. You cheapskate.

Avira, its free and it does the job. You can also purchase the full version which removes the ads at startup.

I roc with the free version of Avira Anitvirus. best free antivirus out there, better than avast as well.

it does show ads once in a while but that just the cost of it being free, it can do everything a paid antivirus can do.

also get malware bytes anti malware. its a free scanner that gets any type of virus off. use those 2 together and u good $$$ [IMG]

... Because I obviously don't know about them. Hence the reason for the thread.
You need to read my entire post before coming in here trying to be sarcastic for lol's and such. I asked for a free program.

It's easy to find anti virus software on sale. I'd just go ahead and pay up to protect your purchases. I'm sure the free stuff is bloated and won't really protect you.
