happiness, freedom, and mobility mean the world to me.

to a lesser extent, family and friends, but a lot of times they show you who they really are/have their own agendas so I take what they do and say with a grain of salt.

I've learned to be so much more optimistic and positive about life since I started mentoring 

"at-risk" youth through the AmeriCorps program in 2008. It's a beautiful thing to see some 

of the kids that I've worked with since age 14 finally go away to college. 

 I'm so proud 

of them. Got me sending out hella cards to college campuses every holiday

.
