    He also invented the cross-trainer.

    There are tons of pics on that Google Patents site - really interesting.

    There's some really cool stuff and some stuff that is obviously just ideas - and hideous ideas at that. Are those early XI's???

    Some of these are Tinker's designs and some of them he only did part of them - there is a big list of people for the patent.
