what recent retro + cws will eventually return?

Was talking to my lil cousin yesterday and while he was in the 6th grade got his first pair of js. They were venom 10s. To him these are absolute grails and you can't tell him otherwise. He told me he will cop a pair every time they retro, which I highly doubt they ever will.
This got me thinking. With so many retro + cws that still have yet to see a return (mocha 3s, burgendy 5s, chambray 7s, flint 7s and 12s) to name a few. What do you guys hope makes a return at some point. Personally, I hope sports blue 3s come back at some point.

Sports blue 3s aren't hard to get near retail.
 
They starting with early 2000s colors lately

Legend 4s
Oreo 4s
White metallic 5s
French 12s and maybe a few others I may have forgot about

Patience is the true key lol
 
Every old retro plus will eventually retro.

for example cherry reds 2009 and then a very similar color years later (gym red vs varsity)...

maybe with slight alterations ( ie blue sole on 11's opposed to clear)

you can take what i say to the bank... i been a real ***** since day one​

It's been 15 years and still no Mocha 3 retro...
 
@bigj505 I know they're easily obtainable and I grabbed a 2nd pair because I like them so much and wear the first pair pretty regularly. I mean more 5-10 years from now when the thought of grabbing a pair that old and cracking and other issues have to be considered.

Thanks for the input. You really think everything will come back? Like venom 10s? Haha made me think there's a kid right now who got mtm 7s or sweater 7s as their first j and will one day consider them grails. I don't think those are ever coming back but who knows

Also as already stated, it's far from a given that a retro+ color will be retrod.
 
I honestly like sports blue more than some of the original color ways and love that they can be had for very little over retail but 10 years from now am I gonna buy a pair that's gonna crack the minute I put them on. I hope they would retro. What pairs from the last couple years you guys think will eventually comeback tho?

I can't ever see Venom 10s ever coming back.. I own a VNDS pair and I'd be lucky to get $60 for it (luckily I bought them new on sale for $130). Those managed to sit back when nearly every GR would sellout.

Exactly, it's been 15 years and no mocha 3 retro, same goes for navy 11 lows, carolina 6 lows, etc. etc.

Heck, this year will be the 1st time we EVER get a true OG metallic retro (not the JB derivatives that released in 2009) so it took 31 years for those to release (and not all cws are releasing).

Yeah, that's what I was thinking the last couple years everything for the most part sold out so you can't really say anything was a flop. I like that a lot of those pairs from the early 2000s are starting to come back but yeah, metallics are just starting to come back and I'd think we'd get retros from the city pack before venom 10s ever saw a comeback but jb does some weird things. luckily I'm from the "og era" so all my personal grails are all original color ways which are all but guaranteed to come back eventually

Definitely would love to see them retroed along with Mocha 3s, Chambray 7s and Flint 12s.

Above all I need Cool Grey 4s back in my life.

Yo Ninjahood, long time no see... but I think the 2009 black Melo 12 was the first retro of a retro+ colorway. It would be the white Melo 12 if count womens and mens release of 2004. Back in 05 when I copped the Altitude 13's I told my bro-in-law I wish they had made them exactly like the 2010 pair with ballistic mesh and brighter green. I wish I could forsee some winning lotto numbers like that, LOL!! But I was thirsting for JB to bring back my Columbia and Oreo 4's, also the Chrome 8's, so I have those crossed off the list now. I'm still waiting on Mocha 3's all stupid, then Pearl 9 lows, Flint 9's, Blk/Chrome 2's and both 05' Laser 4's and I'm good as far as + colorways go.
