Mpls is a very active city, so take advantage of that. Rent a 'Nice Ride' bicycle and hit Lake Harriet, Calhoun and Isles. Calhoun is the most active. There's "rent" stands all over the city. I'd also recommend checking out a Twins game at the new stadium, Target Field.
Grab lunch and some brews at the Minnehaha Falls restaurant Sea Salt Eatery. Beautiful area, great beer, good food.
Whenever I'm there I hit Country Bar for beers and wings. Total dive bar. Hands down best wings I've ever had and its not close. The dry rub in awesome. It's on Lyndale in the LynLake area of Uptown. That, and grab a Jucy Lucy cheeseburger at Matt's Bar on 35th and Cedar. It's been featured on some of those food shows. Anchor Fish and Chips in the Northeast neighborhood is a great spot for dinner and beers too.
Uptown and Downtown are where to party at. Plenty of bars. Manny's is a good steakhouse downtown. Grab Thurs or Fri happy hour at Brits downtown and check out the lawn bowling on the rooftop.
See if there's any concerts you want to attend at First Ave or 7th Street Entry downtown.
