What Would You Do?

I work at a car wash and today while on break, this dude comes into McDonalds looking extremely bummy so I figured he was homeless or something. So he asks me for a dollar and I assume he's going to get something to eat so I gave it to him and dude just ends up leaving. I get back from my shift and see him at my job getting his interiors cleaned and he ended up tipping with the money I gave him. $1 is not a big deal but what irritates me is the fact that he begged for it when he didn't need it. What would you do in this situation? Unfortunately I had to start working so I did not confront him and prove that I was 'bout that life.
