What would you rather have a same year retro or OG/Previous Retro kick?

For examples -

Would you rather buy a brand new 2013 Fire Red V's or a DS previously retro or OG Fire Red V's and why?

it depends on the shoe... in some cases i'd prefer an older retro because the quality is better. other times if a newer retro is done right, that might be the way to go since aging gets to certain jordans (crumbling, paint chipping, etc).
