What's a Good Digital Camera?

What are some good Digital Cameras?
Within $200-$300, but 300 is sort of pushing it.

I am planning on buying a Canon SD790

The one thing I really like about this one is that it has the cool Color Accent feature

But I used a similar one a while ago and the things that bugged me was that; it took to long to take the picture so the image was blurry, and the battery lifewas horrible
