I have 72 hours to decide if im willing to move to springfield or not, and honestly i have no clue about the area. Im from va beach so i know itll be A LOT different then what im used to. But im open for change.

How is the job market in the area? im 21 and worked labor jobs all my life but wouldnt mind a office job if i could bag one, but i doubt it

I've lived in Norfolk, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Woodbridge, and Springfield....

Each place is what you make it...Being close to D.C. is nice..Solid nightlife, sports, music, etc...lots of govt jobs/military bases/labor jobs as well...Life is short.  I say give it a go and the 757 is only 3 hours away.  Hit me if you decide to make that jump or need any advice on spots in the area.

I'd like to know what the deal is with that as well.
Hoodrats and Springfield don't even sound right together.

I lived in Springfield for 4 years, and there is nothing hood about about it what so ever.

I'm guessing air bonilla meant rollers, because Springfield is full of them.

There are a ton of MS-13 members though.

The mall sucks. Pretty much that whole area sucks, unless you like to bar hop.

The only good thing about springfield is the Hard times in the plaza, great place to watch football and hell any type of sporting events, Its especially great if you are a hometown team fan, Its ******** country on football sundays, and big Caps fans come out to watch the games there. But like everyone said in here, the job market is a little tough but if you keep at it, you will find something. I know autozone on Richmond highway is hiring but thats not very close to springfield.
