What's wrong with men wearing Ugg Classics?

Do you hear yourself? Your APPEARANCE is for you. Look up the word APPEARANCE and tell me how that does not fall under the category of oxymoron. I dress for myself? Yea sure. You dress by what you think others think is acceptable.

Ok you keep mentioning the time periods in which you were in a relationship. What about the time period between those relationships. You can honestly say that you didn't dress in hopes of catching a woman's eye? You did not make sure your dress was up to par when approaching women? I just don't understand how you can honestly deny that.

I find it to be damn near impossible for a straight heterosexual male to say that he does not care AT ALL about what other women think about how he dresses. I just can't see it man.

But you win. I tap out. We are running in circles.

Men shouldn't wear uggs just like they shouldn't rock capri's or speedo's. It just doesn't look right.

Don't present an argument then say you tap out. That's lame.

Appearance = outward or visible aspect of a person or thing.

What I see in a mirror. I go by what I think looks good, not by standards set by other people. I'm a 21 year old black male, not many N's are walking around with a purple and blue tie dye shirt on. Do people comment on it or ask why I'm wearing that? Once in a while. And I respond with "I'm a grown *$* man and I'm going to wear what I want". I am by no means bummy, but that's by choice. If I wanted to bum out I would.

As I stated, BEFORE I realized that the opinion of another person should not be my top priority, I was one of the people you're talking about. I cared about having fresh Jordans and other overpriced goofy %%!$ just to get people to look at me. At this point in my life, I wear what I want to. If females happen to like it... that's what's good I guess. If certain ones don't, there's others who will.

You were soooo adamant about vagina not being a good justification for wearing certain clothes, and now you keep bringing up caring about women judging my clothing. So which is it? Is %+%@% important or not?

Or we can be done now, this is boring

But you do understand what YOU think looks good is loosely based on what society TELLS you looks good? Why are you ignoring that?

You aren't understanding what I am saying.

A. A man's amount of vagina accumulated has NOTHING to do with the legitimacy of his wardrobe. A man can get thousands of women but still wear questionable clothing. Those two things mean nothing in relation to each other.

B. Men CARE about looking sharp when approaching a woman. We tend to want to look our best when approaching a woman.

Those two statements aren't related nor are they contradictory. So there is no, "which one is it."

"Questionable" clothing obviously refers to you questioning his manhood. If he is getting more p*ssy than you why should he care about your questioning? You seem upset that some people might not care about how other men view there clothing choices or judge them base off of those choices. Yet you don't find that questionable? Why does anyone need any justification to wear what they like? Obviously people have there opinions, but if that person decides your opinion or others opinions don't matter you're making it seem as their wrong. If it's found in the mens section, but YOU feel it's for woman, what does it matter if HE doesn't? I honestly think they are ugly as @!*% regardless of the gender wearing them and they get uglier the bigger the size, but that's only my opinion. I don't expect any one to base their choices, off my opinion, and neither should you.

People like what society tells them to like.
People think hairstyles, cars, shoes, look good based on what society tells them looks good.

Why is this such a hard concept to grasp? We don't create these fashion trends on our own. They are pushed on us. We don't have an idea of what looks good. Remember looking good is a relative idea, not an absolute idea. Meaning until someone TELLS us what looks good, we have no clue.

So again, people don't dress for themselves. They dress for others. Both sexes dress for some sort of attention from both sexes.

Especially shoe dudes. Shoe dudes wear shoes damn near 100% for the attention of other dudes.

Sure it is true. We don't create trends as individuals. It takes a wave for something to catch on. Just because Wayne wore skinny jeans didn't make it "in." People flocking to it made it "in."

society didn't tell me they look good. Those are basic clothes, I have 2 arms and 2 legs. Why are you ignoring the fact that some people have a mind of their own?

YOU aren't understanding what I am saying. You and 99.99999% of the world's opinion does not. Mean. %!!+. To me at least.

You're also ignoring the fact that some women like men that wear Uggs. Some women like men that wear women's jeans. Some women don't fall for the norm.

You could dress in YOUR idea of sharp, and stand next to a N with a 4x tall tee and some Girbauds on and some females will look at you like you're stupid while they give the other N their phone number. It's all taste.

And I think I understand what you're saying now. The amount of ##%!! you get does not justify wearing questionable clothes. But all males care about appearing appealing to females... so they can get some ##%!!...

So what happens when females find "questionable" clothing appealing? Is that enough justification for you?

Oh and sir, not all of us are brainwashed by the media and things pushed on us. Yes I'm saying this from a Macbook

but it's true. I've been dressing relatively the same since about 2003/2004. My pants fit before it was cool. Trends don't mean a thing to me.

This thread sucks. %!*! Uggs again.
