What's wrong with men wearing Ugg Classics?

Why is this such a hard concept to grasp? We don't create these fashion trends on our own. They are pushed on us. We don't have an idea of what looks good. Remember looking good is a relative idea, not an absolute idea. Meaning until someone TELLS us what looks good, we have no clue.

So again, people don't dress for themselves. They dress for others. Both sexes dress for some sort of attention from both sexes.

Especially shoe dudes. Shoe dudes wear shoes damn near 100% for the attention of other dudes.
So you're basically saying we should be sheep and anything against society deserves ridicule? You're basically enforcing what's wrong with society. Let me also add to the fact that you don't speak for the entire society. So what makes what you or the majority of society's opinion more worthwhile than anyone elses? Obviously these people you are ridiculing are a part of the minority and that part of society is the opinion they choose to accept as their own. So maybe their not dressing for YOUR attention or those other dudes who don't agree with their choices, but for those who's opinions they do value. Maybe if you stopped spewing all this nonsense, and thought as more of an individual you'd stop and think before writing *%%* like this. If what you just said is how you truly feel than how could you possibly say anything anyone wears is wrong? So are you saying society's thoughts are the end all be all? What they decide is right is right and what they decide what's wrong is wrong? Do you realize society continually contradicts itself throughout time? So when society decides thongs for men is what's pleasant to the eye that's what you will be in? Is this correct?

Society tells you that t-shirts and cargo shorts are acceptable. While it isn't on the high end of being FLY, it isn't on the opposite end that people will frown their nose up at you. It is a safe and sound style. I follow the same style. I am very basic. T-Shirts, jeans, tennis shoes. I am not a fly type dude. But I am not a bum either because I care about my appearance.

Caring about your appearance is not implying that you try you hardest to look FLY. It just means you won't come out of the house looking like a bum. Because if you really didn't care about what others thought, you would go outside looking like whatever.

Hope that makes sense.

You aren't understanding what I am saying.

A. A man's amount of vagina accumulated has NOTHING to do with the legitimacy of his wardrobe. A man can get thousands of women but still wear questionable clothing. Those two things mean nothing in relation to each other.

B. Men CARE about looking sharp when approaching a woman. We tend to want to look our best when approaching a woman.

Those two statements aren't related nor are they contradictory. So there is no, "which one is it."
So what are you questioning though? I'm curious. What question is arousing in your head when you see questionable clothing? Why does how you feel legitimize another mans wardrobe? How is a pair of nikes anymore legitimate than a pair of uggs? To some sneakers on men are childish so how do you come to a conclusion on which of society's unwritten laws are legitimate?

The questioning is simply that make posses him to wear something that isn't currently the norm for what men wear.

The same way I question people that walk out of the house looking like slobs. I am quesitoning their motives, not their sexuality.

I am not questioning if he secretly likes men.

Maybe that is what the confusion is stemming from.

I agree that uggs don't look right on men, but not because they have become a staple of womens clothing, but because i don't really think they're good shoes. With that said the assertion that questinoable clothing and having sex with a lot of women have nothing to do with each other is absurd. When someone wears questionable clothing it is questioning their sexuality. Sexuality is established by sexual preference, and therefore having sex with a lot of women and wearing questionable clothing has everything to do with one another. Now if you're trying to say that having sex with a lot of women will not make feminine clothing any less feminine than you would be right about that.

So if you ask this man what his motives are, and he replies to keep his feet warm, then what? Do you question why he doesn't like what society has told you to like? What if he questions why your sheep like mentality has you so brainwashed that you feel you are some type of enforcer for society's notions? So once it becomes the norm then it is no longer questionable and it becomes legitimate to you, and you would feel comfortable wearing it?

Tis not. You just said it is the motives you are questioning. Other than the fact that females wear it what makes it feminine? Guarantee you have no legitimate response.

No. No, no, no. If I wanted to wear dashikis or a kilt with the words SWAG SEASON embroidered on it, I would. !+*+ society and public opinion.

If you really don't care what others think, you go outside looking however you feel comfortable. Whether it be leather and chains, neons, pastels, super skinnys, a $16k suit, UGGS, or some beat #*% Pumas and a track suit. Me caring about how I look has no relation to wanting to look good for others. I do for self.

Believe it or not, some people dress a certain way because they want to, not because it's "cool". We are not all mindless followers of the glowing idiot box. Some people adapt to their own style over time, some people follow trends.

And oh, that's what you're questioning

Thanks for clarifying. Will you be teaching your children about individuality? Or will society be their guide through life? Society tells me to covet money, women, and material items... but it's the majority and it's accepted, so I should rock with that? Do you see how you sound?
