Wheel Backspacing Question...

My stock wheels are 16x7's running new Michelin 235/70/16 Latitude Tours...

The backspacing for my '04 Liberty is 5.5"

I want to buy a set of black wheels that I'll transfer my new tires on...

I'm looking at buying some Cragar Soft 8 wheels that are 16x7 except they have a 4" backspacing...

Would Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers fo the trick? I've read that the optimal backspacing for my Jeep is 5.25"

Or should I just buy a set of 16x7 KMC slides that already have adequate backspacing?

Do remember that all of NT drives an M3 or G35.

If you put those spacers on the soft 8's, then you'll get that 5.5 inch backspacing. However, you'll need to grind down the stock studs in order to make them fit.
