Out of the blue, whether it's through a message or the popup chat thing. What do you do? Have small talk with them?

Why did you stop talking to that person?

Minus well small talk with them .. If they messaged you obviously you were on their mind

If you cool with them why wouldn't you? If you don't rock with them why are they on your FB?

I said aquaintance, not a close friend. Someone like a neighbor from your dorm freshman year in college. Or just someone you used to see just about everyday, but we're never really that close.

Troll or preheat that oven

or both ?

....hmm maybe you just talk to them like a normal person. Unless they are saying off the wall comments there's nothing weird or awkward about it.

I mean people you used to see at school just about everyday, but never said much besides "hi", and probably never interacted with on FB besides posting "happy birthday"? It's not awkward that all of a sudden they want to chop it up?

Not if yall were actually cool.

I hate people with expiration dates on friendships. If you two were cool, and nothing happened to give you reason to stop being cool, why would you just all of a sudden stop being cool with said person? Obviously, they were and probably still think about you.

Sometimes people get caught up in life and loose connections, nothing is wrong with trying to reconnect with people.

Do what the **** you want. It's not that complicated.

No. You new generation of kids kill me. Everything isn't awkward, weird, or whatever anti-social emotions get stirred up in your body. Be glad you have the technology to connect with people you have met over the years because without facebook most of ya'll wouldn't have friends.

I have no one that prolly cares what I been up to, to send messages like that to me.

but why not just get back into knowing them, could make the best of friends later on in life

I have no problem being social. It's just I have to question their motive, it's probably either they have nothing better to do but to kill time or they're asking for advice or a favor.

Who cares. People do it to you everyday in person also but you prob don't notice it.

Well that's normal because I am within their trajectory, neither one of us is going out of our way to interact with one anther.
