Do you just give it to whoever is working or ask to speak to a manager and then give it to them?
This is my first time ever filling out one that wasn't online. Once you give it to them how long should you wait before you the place back?

It's just Gamestop.
I spoke with the guy working there and he said that they'll start hiring around September and just gave me an application.

I always ask for the manager, sometimes if they're not there I return at a later date. Ask them if they're hiring, if they are I wait a week or two then follow up.

Yea, it all depends on where it is your applying. Being that you are able to just hand in an application I will assume it is retail/food service related. Dress nicely and ask to speak to a manager is possible. If it's retail they will probably give you a mini interview on the spot (if you are talking to the manager)

I usually ask for a manager, but in some cases the employee that you're dealing with acts as if they don't want to bother the manager or some $@%+ ("Can I help you with something"............NO beeyotch, now run along and get the %++!%*%!%$%!$ manager NAOW!).Like the manager is SO damn busy (which in most cases that is NOT the case unless it's a conference call or something like that) that they can't take a few minutes to come see you face to face.
Sorry Wes.I had to get that off my chest.I'd say check in with them a few days after you initially turn in the App.

Thanks, usually it looks like they only have one or two people in there at a time. I'll have to pick the right time to go turn it in
