He's black, wouldn't he also take away some white votes and doing simple math there are less black people than white people his race hurts them more than it helps them doesn't it?

Reminds me of '08 when conservative folks were trying to console their loss by saying "Obama only won the election because black people showed up to vote for him... and they only voted for him because he's black"
I'd argue to say there was more racist folks who didn't vote for him because he's black than there are black people in the U.S.

Indeed. Hardly any black people, if any are or would even think about voting for Herman Cain. He's more in tune with white voters than he is with black voters.

Yeah...Anton, you're my dude...but I gotta go with this.
I see this all the time...but if it wasn't for the racism of the GOP, I think most black people and hispanics would be republicans.
Republican middle class people LOVE to vote AGAINST their interests.
In their eyes, they're all millionaires down on their luck. Most black people I know aren't all that progressive socially either since they're pretty religious and economically disenfranchised.
Think of how much time you spend reading the news, cross checking facts, remembering tidbits of quotes and stats, comparing sources, engaging in debate and learning about your own bias.
Now imagine people who don't do ANY of that except listening to pre-planned and diced up soundbites delivered on their behalf by mainstream 6 o'clock news. And they do this daily.

My dude Cain was on the Jimmy Kimmel show last week and I was very surprised to see that he's actually a pretty likeable dude.

I actually voted for Hillary in the democratic primaries...i was an optimistic college student ...too scared to break from the pack but I thought hillary would have been a better executive than barack. But dammit, if barack didn't have that swagger necessary.
