I've recommended this site every time a thread like this is made. You can't go wrong by it. Renting books > Buying books.

I usually buy off of half.com or from the actual school bookstore if it is not worth it to buy from half. I also tried out chegg.com for my summer classes andI would recommend them if you want to rent your books and you are willing to not get money back from selling at the end of the semester.
