Never understood the appeal of class rings. They’re ugly as sin, cost a grip and who really cares about high school?

I don't know a single person who owns/wears one for high school or college. I would've been clowned so hard by my parents if I asked them to buy me for a class ring for high school  Having a good career should be your "class ring". No one gives a @#$@ about where you went to school after you pass your first interview

My HS ring has a dude performing karate on the side. I stopped attending karate 2 years before entering HS . I wasn't involved in **** lol.

moms has mine.

I got an honors pin from College :lol

college i kinda understand

but high school , expensive participation trophies

Didn't take band because we had to buy our own instruments

Didn't take SAT's because it cost money

Didn't buy a letterman because it cost money

Damb sure didn't buy a ring

"I was PO, I couldn't afford the O-R"

I wear my HS class ring almost everyday, mainly for networking purposes. I went to one of two prominent public high schools in my city, so when alumni and other people notice I have it on I get a networking advantage.

would never buy that ugly thing
i don't even wear rings

my future wife needs to understand im going to wear my ring around a chain on my neck if she wants me to wear one.
cause it really irks me to wear a ring

Some of y'all went to some rough schools from the sound of it

Mine was around $400 white gold with my March birthstone in it. My dad has it somewhere, I thought it was lost until he told me he had it, stopped wearing it after I graduated HS. Always looked at guys that wore them after HS as corny dudes that couldn't leave those HS glory days behind.

Always making sure their ring was seen no matter how awkward the pose was.

I don't hate it, but I don't wear it. Mom made me get one lol. It's on display with my degree at home.

there was no way i could afford a 400$ ring in high school
i worked, i skipped lunches, and sold burned cd's just to save up enough money to cop sneakers and whatnot
My parents bought it, my brother worked at a shoe store and got 30% my shoes and clothes and he bought that so it was one less expense my parents had to worry about so they figured they would break bread for my ring.

Bruh I don’t even have a year book. I want nothing from school except the yambs I missed out on

Same here, no ring, no yearbook, I didn't even participate in any senior activities at my HS. Only reason I want to see a yearbook is to look up the names of yambs from my graduating class. I have no social media except for my personal IG account and I just mainly use it to creep lurk.

i thought they were super ugly so i never got one...i did however get a nice bracelet and gucci watch for graduation

Facts. Didn't bother ordering one. Hell, I didn't get one for college either. Though I might have if I went away for school. I commuted and barely made lasting-friendships. My mind was to get in and get out.
