the more expensive ones are made with gold but i mean who really cares? i bought 2 hdmi cables from 5below (spot in philly) excellent quality. i use it on my xbox and the difference was really clear. i also use one for my blu ray player. u really have been robbed if more than 5 cash was paid.

From what the salesman at FRY's told me, gold vs silver doesn't matter with a digital signal.
