You can't draw any line until your partner admits their actions of emotional cheating to you in the first place.
Otherwise all thoughts are fictional and merely entertained as assumption.
Whereas for yourself, it all depends how committed you are to this person.

From experience, I would NEVER ever do that again. I wouldn't even step up to that line. Threw away a 4 year relationship just cause I went to someone else for support during a "rough patch". smfh...

just because you text someone don't mean anything she could be texting her man just as much or her girlfriends just as much
Plus it is all about intentions ...your intentions maybe way different from hers
Shes probably bored and using you as entertainment and thats about it
Just because a girl talk to you a lot don't mean shes interested in you in a romantic kind of way

This sounds way too familiar.
Girls are straight up grimy. They flirt with you talking about how much they like you blah blah blah then hit you with the "yeah me and my boyfriend...." and your like umm....what? Or you have a girl, and the other girl knows that, and they still try to smash....no respect (my situation about a year ago....).
As far as emotional cheating i don't really believe in that. A lot of time i will text other girls and talk to them (maybe flirt) but i have 0 intentions of getting with them. Just kind of need that outside opinion or another female that you know cares about you. It's hard to explain but it helps. As long as there is no physical cheating texting doesn't really count to me as long as it's understood that those lines can't be crossed. I think it's harder for women because they allow emotions to blur reality. A man can talk to a girl and keep it that way (imo). Girls talk to another guy then get emotional and confused and "don't know what they want anymore". But a guy can remove that emotion for the most part and understand he has an excellent girl and wouldn't want to ruin what he has.
