Unless you have cash to maintain a Ducati, stay far, far away from them. Yamaha's, Kawa's, and Suzuki's are all reasonably priced and extremelyreliable. When buying a used bike, always check the battery amperage, the starter/relay, tires, and if the person who's selling you the bike lets you testride it, check the clutch and try riding through 4th gear. Make sure there is minimal grinding, if anything. Lastly, when you buy a bike make sure your firstinvestments are a quality damper and quality gear. Ride safe.
