NOVA police are really the WORST. honestly wouldn't be intimidated by any other cop in a diff state bc of how much they suck. Traffic is def a B.. that's why u gotta learn the back roads and not hop on the hwy during rush hours. Living is def expensive as hellllll like I said before top 5 richest counties in the NATION. Our sport teams aren't that great, yeah but how much are the ******** worth????

I honestly believe at the moment I wouldn't mind settling down when I have a wife and kids here... just gotta make sure my kids stay away from the wrong crowd cuz this place is a huge melting pot. our public high schools were legit equally diverse yo, I think that really humbles ppl and gives them more of an open mind to race and religions

I would say the south begins with VA.
Whenever I'm in NoVa, it feels like MD but just a lot whiter and with less going on. Like if you took about 20% of the buildings in MD down, increased Spanish people by about 25% and decreased the black people around 50%....that's Virginia.

Yup by law anything below the mason-dixon line( Md-Pa border) is the south.
But its funny because the DC Metro area isnt southern at all but the rest of MD is country as hell.
And Dc metro and Bmore metro is night and day. Them dudes sound like kats from philly to me. Kapris on men? :x

Btw NY,PA,NJ,DE,MD,VA and sometimes NC are considered mid-atlantic.

I have to say Philla Pa is almost a different region compared to western PA, they are like 2 different states, I think Philly is more in common with south jersey, than it is with it's western population. They talk country , hunt, call soda "pop" it's weird. Maybe not in Pittsburgh I'm not sure, but definitly the surrounding areas, Philly swag is way different

This. I grew up in western PA, but went to college in Eastern PA. Culturally, the state could honestly be split in half. I remember trying to play cards with people from the Philly area. We had like 6 people and everyone played the same game differently.
