The OG Nikes and Jordan’s made in Taiwan and Korea were made great imo

Hell yeah my OG 13s from Taiwan stood the test of time. I wore them for years. Can’t say I remember what the tongue said on my earlier Jordans.

These are the 4s I currently own and really all I need. This is strictly my opinion so no one needs to get heated, but in terms of shape and quality the reimagined blk/reds are the best of this group. Yeah, I know it’s not “OG” spec, but the leather quality, the softer midsole polyurethane and the toebox shape is on point.

In terms of what I would prefer to wear it would be the 2018 blk/reds if the toe box were better. I like the less bulky feeling even though it’s not “OG” shape. Rant ended, flame suit on…

I don’t see anyone getting heated you don’t need a flame suit. That’s a solid group of 4s, you have my full approval not that my opinion is a reflection of the majority at all. In fact I’m kinda on an island all on my own.

The WC 4’s are way more tech looking than the 3’s. The WC 3’s are more casual/lux look where as WC 4 are more sporty/hi tech version. It can be worn the same, but it’s small differences imo

To me they look like two totally different shoes and I absolutely still want the WC3s. This is my second time having the WC4s and I’m STILL waiting for reimagined 3s to drop in price. I’ve wanted reimagined and the free throw lines from back in the day. I hope they will just do a regular release of those shoes for once. That’s a shoe I would double up on without a doubt.

For me I'm a 3s over 4s guy.....but the fit will distinguish when I wear the WC3 or 4.

For 3s I can put on whenever and go.....but because I lace 4s so there's no movement of the Wings it means when I'm in 4s I'M NOT TAKING them off until the day is done you know.

I'll definitely find days to wear both tho....I also think 3s look better with pants/jeans and 4 look better with shorts so that'll help me too.

I’m gonna try my hand in store tomorrow since it looks like they’re widely available, I already ordered a pair on kickscrew but will probably just sell or cancel that pair if they let me

I dig what you're saying, but the last question never made sense to me. Most folks have some sort of threshold.

For me, if its not on the NEX website now, more than likely I'll pass. I saved myself $70-80 by not going the DSG route, even with a gift card and a couple of $20 rewards.

I can still want a shoe, but not press myself into a day and night search for them. Carmine 6 is my favorite Jordan and I didn't purchase one on release day years back. 4 years later, I got 4 pair and did not pay over $130 for any one of them DS. Sometimes these resellers play themselves. I let them kids do the work lol.

It'll be like those Dunk Jarritos that change color with wear. They just turn into the reimagined WC4s.

for me I think the 3's look fine with jeans/pants but amazing with shorts

4's look great in both options (personally)

While I agree the WC3 is overall better than the WC4, my 2016 pair of WC4 are crispy and look absolutely amazing almost 10 yrs later! Just wore em to pick up my 25’ pair.

I agree with this. Although you can’t go wrong with either. The first time we see elephant print on a shoe and not sure, but one of the first times we see the splatter technique.

Aesthetically speaking though, the WC 3s have a cleaner look with less variations and texture going on so they’re easier to coordinate with any outfit.

There really wasn't anything special or even good about the '16 materials, and the fact that the mesh yellowed so quickly was sad. Even a VNDS pair looked so bad when they yellowed. It wasn't like the entire shoe looked nice and aged; it just looked odd.

I don't have these in-hand yet, but the shape/height/rolled over tongue alone beat the '16s. Unless a collector wants to have all versions, there's really no reason to own those anymore (except for maybe beaters I supposed).

MBs are NOTHING special material-wise and I expect these will be similar. Not sure why they go so hard on the PU coating; kind of a shame. I'd rather have some flaws and imperfection in the leather than super smooth and flawless with the plasticky PU coating.

My First pair of Jordans were the 1989 BC 4's. Used my 14th Birthday money to go buy them. This was the best purchase in my entire life. Nothing made me more happier then putting them on and going outside to see if I could jump higher. I really thought I could. I really wish they could match the Black Durabuck that was used on the 1989 and 1999 pairs. What a beautiful shoe. Maybe one day they will figure it out. The WC 4's are also beautiful and glad to have a few pairs. On another note does anybody know who DTLR and Shoe Palace use to ship their shoes/ USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS/

Glad I went with 10.5 instead of 11.. joints fit just like MB IVs.. These are so fire.

I took a W this time, thought they were too loose but turns out they fit me like the MBs did out of the box. Just needs some breaking in now

I like 4s better, but agree that white 3s stay looking good much longer than 4s with white mesh. Anyone know if water repellent spray help slow down oxidation of the mesh, or do the chemicals make it worse?

I would say they fit closer to the WC 3's (more TTS/roomy). The BC 3 was snug for the US pairs but the China pairs fit more TTS (like the WC 3). I think these are more on the roomy side/fit like the WC3.
