i say either eminem nas or big punisher

abab aaaa and different rhyme schemes eminem got down pat.

but pun and nas were also ill also.

i agree he is more of a storyteller

so his cadences and structures aren't as defined 

sometimes it seems like he doesn't give a damn 

about the beat but still stays on beat somehow 

as for the question def eminem and big pun 

ill also throw treach in there
 
gotta be either Em or Nas. I can't think of anybody better in that element off top. maybe canibus to a certain extent.


I'd give it to Em though if I were to judge. The way he rides a beat and the flow power is bananas

Rakim was definitely one of the originators of that highly technical rhyme style, but I feel like Pun and Em took it to another level technically.

That's not a slight to Rakim, either. He's still one of the greatest.

I swear I was listening to "Criminal" just yesterdayand pointed out this line to my homeboy.

"Windows tinted on my ride when I drive in it, so when I rob a bank run out and dive in it..."

Jay-Z was living vicariously through Eminem when he said the flow is unearthly and Sean Carter is no slouch.

all in 6 lines
 
Complex doesnt = Near Perfect OP but...

If your looking for the most complex I would have to say Em and also the Dipset era with that 3 bar flow.

Had everyone trying to rhyme like that in 03'

Curren$y and Camp Lo are also slept on when it comes to structure.
