Who here plays Mass Effect?

have had this game for years and just now starting to play it.
I'm on the mission where there's all the snow and mutant bugs and crap, and all I'm trained in is the shotgun and pistol.
I want to use the assault riffle and sniper. How am I supposed to get trained to use it? This game makes you think too much

I loved it as a role-playing genre game. As for the level your at, I don't think I've reached it yet! LOL I stopped playing M.E. as much when I startedworking a lot.

i'm not deep into it at all. I just now became a Spectre and left the Citadel. I really don't even know what I'm doing besides shooting stuff

Great game. I'll be picking up part 2 when that drops in early 2010. IIRC, you'll just wait till you level up and put points into assault rifletraining? My Shepard was a Soldier so I used alot of assault rifles and shotguns.
