only thing that whole foods has thats better than regular grocery stores is the women who shop there.
everything they have i can get somewhere else cheaper.

The WF by my house was recently remodeled, it's a really nice looking building with outdoor seating for eating. I can't justify the price of going there though for anything. Sprouts and Frys (Kroger) do the job for me

Love their hot bar. It is a bit on the expensive side so I don't go often. But compared to other grocery stores with hot bars, Wegmans specifically, they're the best. And in the summer they grill out with burgers and dogs. Appreciated.
Plus they're the only spot I know that has gingerade kombucha.

Overpriced as hell. I know they recently announced they are gonna be lowering prices. They finally figured out trader joes and kroger are doing what they do and cheaper
I think there is also some European organic retailers opening nationwide that are cheap and huge in western europe so you know they arr gonna eat up some of those hispter customers from them.
Its 2017 people care about health but people cant afford ridiculous prices for it.
I also used to work at whole foods back in the day abd really hate the way treated customers

I strongly disagree. WF has ALOT of products that nobody else sales.
The quality of a lot of these products are superior to your average store.
Sprouts is the closest to WF in product type/quality.
Let's define special.
I'll give you a few examples.
Your regular "grocery" store
Probably only sales shampoos,tooth paste and bodywash they contains Sodium laurel sulfate.
Did you know they put aluminum in baking powder and deodorant does your regular grocery store sale brands that don't contain aluminum?
What about meat all chicken is the same right? WF sales air chilled chicken when regular stores sale chicken that contain up to 8% water if you read the packaging, part of that 8% which is not listed on the packaging could be bacteria, feces etc. Because "regular" chickens are put in a bath with 100s of other chickens so catching pathogens from a diseased chicken is easy to pass to other chickens.
Or what about just regular bread the store bakes inside the store. How many stores sale bread with just 4 ingredients salt, flour, water and yeast? Not some huge paragraph of ingredients for the same product
I can keep going on for pages. They do have crazy prices, they do sale products you can get at other stores. I've shopped there (not as much recently) for over 7 years or so.
Now if you don't care about what you put on your skin/hair or in your body. I wouldn't recommend shopping there. But if you do I would recommend shopping there or at least buying items you can't get anywhere else

The little differences you mentioned....dont care.
Im healthy so it seems where i buy my food hasnt killed me
if u want to be super careful like that more power to u but i have more important things to worry about than whether or not my chicken is air chilled lol.

I go there for the women **** is gold. Plus they give out great samples. And like mentioned above there cooked food section is really good for a supermarket.
I will say they do have brands and items most stores don't carry.

Overpriced AF. Worked there when I was 19-21. 20% discount was nice, but I wouldn't shop there on the reg. Meats and seafood are great quality though.
