Whose done the Jared Diet? General Topic?

Probably not the best idea, but it probably depends on your body type.

If you eat a lot of Subway (I'm assuming that is what the "Jared Diet" is), you're gonna get:

-lots of carbs
-lots of sodium (bread and other ingredients)
-nitrites (carcinogens) (from the meats, except turkey)
-MSG (depending on what you eat, like sweet onion chicken teriyaki)
-etc.

But then again, if you're eating worse than that, it may be a less worse alternative.
 
I think it worked for him because he was overweight to begin with.
It is easy to lose weight when you are that big and changing your diet from sandwiches consisting of chicken breast and vegetables compared to burgers andfries will make you lose weight for sure.
It is still not an ideal diet though, their damn wheat bread isn't even real whole wheat.
 
Yah know like from South Park, they said he had aides to help him so just eating Subway and not doing anything is dumb but getting help and working out willhelp.
 
been on it for 3 months and only 15 pounds less without working out...i dont know if thats a good thing or bad thing...im thinking bad...lol

Anyways, I heard Jared use to walk 2 miles for his subways and only had the turkey on wheat with some vegatables, he definitely wasnt having no chicken parm or meatball marinera

stick to the 6 inch, whole wheat subs... no dressings whatsoever... lots of spinach and dark green veggies on it. Then drink only water.

And you have yourself a somewhat decent meal health-wise... but to do this every day for every meal? No thanks.

There are much better tasting, better FOR you things to eat out there if you're on a diet. Bland, tasteless sandwiches all day everyday doesn't soundgood to me.
 
You are not going to lose weight by just eating what he was eating...dude did a +++! load of cardio as well. The diet helped, but that was only 1/2 thebattle...
