Man, I got my car radio on 96.5 KOIT. With the Christmas songs, weather, family, and some good things in my life at the near end of
2009 , has gotten me in the Christmas spirit this year like no other. I just feel blessed, and lucky I'm not in a tight situation, knock on wood.
The next 2 weeks before Christmas is going to breeze by so fast.So best wishes to all of you on NT. And if you're going through something hard, I hope itgets better for you in 2010.

naw man, didnt get no turkey this year, canada celebrated their thanksgiving last month. my dad and i arent talking, last time i was at his house i was drunkwith his g/f and i flipped out becuase she wouldnt leave me alone becuase she wanted me 2 scrape my pipe, so i flipped out like i do half tha time im wasted.my moms goin thru her 2nd month of chemo therapy, she got breast cancer a few months ago and she isnt happy with me. so im stayin up in "bum !@#$ egypt" in canada with my grandma.
 
The day after Thanksgiving is when my Christmas mode starts...
Been listening to Xmas music here & there, I have it on the alrm clock in the morning.

Watched Elf & Home Alone 2 recently too So im starting.

it comes and goes too quickly to not start getting ready as early as possible.. b/c there's nothing to look forward to for awhile after december, for me atleast.

That's me right there, depending on how my life is going also. My parents couldn't buy us gifts, and me and my brother knew about our economicsituation as kids. But there's been some crazy Christmas in the past for me. I remember going to church as a kid cause my mom just wanted me to go andlearn, even though I wasn't Christian. Man, the church just loved my brother and I, and that year for Christmas, they gave us Huffy bikes( a red one and ablue one.) They told us Jesus gave us the bikes, so we were like, cool. That church will always hold a special place in my heart.

And one Christmas, when I was 7, living in a trailer, and the rent was only 2 hundred dollars. I was mesmerized by those Santa hotlines. Since I didn't getany gifts, I still wanted to talk to Santa ,and see what's up, why is he holding out on me? So I called the Santa hotline, and me and my brother wouldlaugh all day listening to it. We would hear all the reindeer's names, with Santa's laugh, and giggle for hours. My mom saw us having a good time onthe line, so she started to listen too, and I would translate for her what Santa was saying. Maaaaan, when the phone bill came home that month it was about 5hundred dollars. We were forbidden to call Santa forever after that

.That bill was more than our rent. And this story gets brought up every year around Christmas time. Good times to say the least.
 
There's too much negativity goin' on in my life right now for me to be in the holiday spirit. As bad as that sounds, I really can't do anythingabout it.........except keep livin' for me and my family.
 
I'm always in the holiday spirit. One of my favorite times of the year.

I finally got in the mood when I walked out of my bedroom today, into the living room, and saw that the tree was put up. No ornaments yet though.
