Why didnt Nike release elite hyperdunk lows?

Does anybody think that Nike should have released the elite versions on the hyperdunk lows? Hardens, Jr, and iggys were nice.

My best guess is that Nike didn't want to spread the "elite" gimmick (that's the wrong word I know, sorry) too thin over their product line.... they wanted to focus on really promoting the LeBron/Kobe and to a lesser extent the Hyperdunk.

I don't know if a hyperdunk low elite would sell that well either, FSRs on pretty much all sites for the highs.

Well if it was at a better price point and the Low Elites had zoom in the heel and forefoot...they would sell without a doubt. It would pretty much be a Kobe type performance shoe......

Definitely not...but I would have waited until they hit the outlets and scooped them up for $70.
