Why does it seem like not much appreciation for raptor VII's?

NOT RAPTORS. These shoes came out in '92, the Toronto Raptors were established in '95. Stop calling them that. I hate them when you call them that.

Lol...If you google Jordan raptor VII these pop up everywhere... Even on ebay...This raptor thing came from somewhere.

these dropped during da jersey era and people's outfit to match was raptor's apparel...and vince carter was still da man back then...itsreally that simple.
 
Is the "Raptor" nickname because of Jalen Rose wearing them during his time there or not? It's the only thing I can think of.....been on NT along time and I'm still not sure about this....
 
Those VIIs are beautiful. My boy got a pair and I would love to have a pair myself. The nickname makes no sense but I know thats how alot of people see themas.
