Why does my iPhone keep scrolling up after cleaning it? RIP?

I’ve cleaned it with water and a rag (better option?) and turned it off and on several times to no good avail

It has scrolled up at least 6 times since starting this post

Any suggestions?

Probably got water/moidture under the screen. Bag of rice trick could help.
