Speaking of The Air Up There...

Charles Gitonga Maina (born 1976) is a 6'10" Kenyan-born actor best known for his co-starring role in The Air Up There attended college at Lynn University on a basketball scholarship from 1997 to 1999. His coach would not allow him to use the 'Jimmy Dolan Shake and Bake' move in competition games.[sup][1][/sup] He left the country to try out for a team in Greece and was unable to return to the US due to visa problems. Since then, his whereabouts are unknown.

Argueably no one in the world can see Air Up There. AUT is too good. Some get higher, some can do some of his dunks, but no one is consistent. He stays killing dunk contests. Pulls off the 720 and 360 ttl in a game. Its a streetball game but you still have no time to prepare. Dude has insane control and spin.
Check him in dunk contests, hes killing everyone, rarely misses. The 360 ttl was a backup dunk for him.

Someone should try hitting that 360 ttl first.

Damn. Homie straight disappeared. This dunk still looks crazy even though I've seen it countless times.

As far as OP's original question, I really don't think a lot of NBA dunkers have tried it/or can do it. NBA dunkers know they ain't touching these streetballers so they don't even bother it seems.

They should have an "Amateur Vs Pro`s" Dunk contest for the All Star game......that would be SICK!!!!!!!!

NBA players can't do it...which is why we've seen them start to rely on props and costumes and it's become more of a show

I thought VC would eventually do it but it never happened. I'm pretty sure in his prime he could've done it. Don't know about anyone else though.

seeing some of the best dunk specialists compete in it would be sick.
i know a lot of nba players would be hesitant to even sign up for it.  they don't want to get embarrassed by a bunch of amateurs.

Im certain a few dudes in the league can do that dunk, past or present. Why they havent yet , who knows.

Ive never seen a streetballer come from under/behind the backboard like Igoudala, but im sure some of them can do that dunk as well.
