I've seen porno rougher than that, but no one cares about that
As far as if this is torture or not, yeah it is, but it's better than most other countries do torture. Does that make it right....well that's a bit ofa gray area. Unfortunately innocent people will, and probably (actually forget the probably) have, been tortured. Also unfortunately information is as much aweapon as guns and bombs, and any enemy isn't just going to tell you whatever you want. That leads to torture being really the only option. It'sdark, it's evil, but in some ways its necessary in warfare. You have to ask yourself if torture falls under the needs of the many outweigh the needs ofthe few.
