I mess w McDonald's heavy but why are the tenders all sauced up but the sandwich is not?

They had bbq tenders like a year ago and they were way too saucy.

I had the Popeyes spicy sandwich after a 40 min wait a few weeks ago. It's a delicious sandwich, but I wouldn't wait 40 min again for it

Just ate some earlier. Their quarter pounder with cheese is tasting better nowadays and got me addicted.
