I remember someone asked this question before and somebody else responded by saying these are not in demand
but yall mean to tell me that the worst jordan imo jordan 15 was more in demand than the 16 and 17 if im not mistaken they
retroed the 15 twice

I don't think they need to.

Besides, there's a ton of OG XVIs and XVIIs on Flight Club, KixClusives, Image, Ebay etc.

there were a good amount of BC 3s and there are a good amount of Bred 11s lying around that isn't a factor.  JB has no problem over saturating the market if they think the shoes will still sell

exactly i think alot of people agreet that the 16s and 17s will sell especially with the way things are now
these are sneakers these new sneaker heads actually were old enough to remember the og

The simple answer is they both cost ALOT more to manufacture than older models with less technology.

maybe they can't make as much profit from the more complex and less nostalgia driven later sigs.

but i agree, it's long overdue.

Yea with the straps, clovers, magnets, etc. I hate to say it, but when they do decide to release the XVI, XVII, & XVIII's they're going to have an XI pricetag.

thats bs to me because nike makes more than enough to make those kicks if they had enough to make them back then
then i know they have quadruple the amount or more now cost to make them would be the least of there problems they throw money away

I feel ya though...The way prices are I bet the XVIIs will still be $200 but wont come with the briefcase.

I would love Jb to retro some 16. Imo it is probably the most underrated model from the Jb line

i feel the same way i do think the 16 and 17 are underrated both sneakers to me were epic they put alot into these shoes
and if i can remember most of the first releases of these shoes sold pretty well u could rarely find any on shelves in my area except for colorways like the
tan 16s but none of the 17s stood around not even the lows

would love for these to be retro'd. Cherrywood xvi's have always been one of my favorite sneakers of all time.

it frustrates me that the 15s retroed and jordan didnt even play a season in them were the 15s that hot to other people
they are complete trash to me

LOL what?
They make alot more technical shoes all over the nike like for around 140$-170$ then he old tech in the 16 &17 has.

I would love a 16 and 17 release. I want more higher numbers to be released. Its been too long

17 lows please.. well both.

they can come out with bs 17 6 rings but not the real shoe . smh

Thats true, but todays retroes dont effort to create, and they charging $160 a head. When it come to making the XVI & up it actually aint as easy, and I know they wont throw a $160 pricetag on em. They'll place em with the XI's. Hope I'm wrong cuz I want some red/white XVIIIs

not enough demand. but after all these release they just might put out a couple as "LIMITED" and watch the hype build. Put out some Ray Allen exclusive 17s and 16s. smh..

Not in my size. And if I am lucky to find one in my size, it's about 270 for nds ginger xvis, not something I'd pay for nds

This is smart thinking. I never thought of it. Much easier to retro some VIs and put cardboard in it rather than a more complex XVI or XVIII

Most of jb's clientèle is too young to remember they came with a briefcase, so I'm sure they'll try shifting it without one

it because those sneakers won't sell as well as the more popular retros.
