How do you get, you can’t play defense on her from Silver’s statement? He even says that the larger issues aren’t about officiating or that foul.

CC is an unwilling symbol of straight feminine whiteness/ the kind that misogynistic racists love to parade around, and the kind that has very little to do with the actual person.

And as the unwilling symbol, she then gets the ire of people who rightfully hate racists.

Do y’all actually think that all of this doesn’t impact her as a person? That she doesn’t have feelings. Like constantly hearing about the W’s sisterhood and seemingly be left out of it, is good for her mental wellbeing?

W players keep (rightfully) calling out the abuse they’ve been facing from the public. Whether it be racial, sex based, or gambling. It takes a toll.

Again, Cathy and this league don’t have the skills to handle what the players are facing, which is why Silver is stepping in.

The Valkryies have won 8 straight games and for me they feel a lot like last year's Spurs. I hope they get close to if not in the finals.

My Mystics are struggling. They still can't figure out how to generate non-Citron offense consistently. Amoore just makes me want to throw things

Da Face got us all engaging in conversation. Now whether we consider it constructive is a different topic lol

To even pivot to the officiating issue, there is a very easy solution to all of this; especially if Silver keeps yapping. The refs who aren’t working the MNBA playoffs should be the lead refs for the WNBA. Sure they have their own set of issues but it’ll be better than what we have now.

I’ll gladly accept A’ja getting the respect she deserves. She gonna be hated even more lol
