working at the apple store?

watup fam,

anyone here work at any of the apple stores particularly in NYC? i just applied and i just want to know what i gotta do to nail an interview. ive heard ofguys that dont even know anything about apple still getting a job there. shed some light. thanks

Their job looks mad easy. Just tell them what they want to know like every other interview and you should be straight fam.

I used to work at the Bellevue Sq Apple Store in WA and the interview was 10 minutes max and they hired me that day. Came in within a week to sign thepaperwork. Just be happy about the Apple products and know what they sell - the basics: iPod, iPod TOUCH (not iTouch), Nano, Macs, etc.


At that point I owned a Mac book and an iPod so I knew how to work some of their products. You can wear khakis and a polo to the interview; no sportswear/baggy jeans!

i've worked for apple before. just display an eagerness to work and enthusiasm. that's what will matter, not your knowledge of macs. i had some formerco-workers that were straight up horrible at using computers and OS X.

Just a basic eagerness to work always impresses a manager/ interviewer. And be honest, there is nothing like saying you know something and you don't thengetting tested on it... =]

just got a job 2 weeks ago to work at the first applestore in france in paris can't wait to start ! for the ones who already worked there how much did uget paid and did u have any advantages ?
