I've worked retail for my entire working life. Getting out of it is the best thing i've ever done! It feels great to have weekends off!!!

 It was my first job ever. I needed the money to pay for school. It made for a funny story at least 

 ... I laugh about it now because I'm doing fine for myself. If I was still there, I would definitely not be as whatever about the whole thing.

my experience

get paid minimum wage
no degree nec. maybe not even a ged/diploma
the bastards dont even train you to do the job! what the hell am I supposed to do? and then i get blamed when it goes down?
chances of getting hired are excellent if you know someone
employees turned resellers and unhelpful esp. in hood areas
bosses like to kiss your %!+ when you want to quit
standing around for most of the time like 8-9 hrs

seriously though its cause of retail I dread working in ANY job until i get my college degree working in a relevant field
