Not biased by selection of subjects in conflict with the law, other studies demonstrate similar testosterone levels in African±American and Caucasian American men. In contradiction to the so-called predisposition theories on crime rates and race, another study involving 1127 men and adjusting data for age and body mass index (BMI), showed levels of total and bioavailable testosterone to be highest in Asian Americans, followed by African±Americans and lowest in Caucasian Americans (112).

free testosterone is converted by aromatase into estrogen, and high free estrogen levels are a signal to the body to stop producing testosterone.

so based on what i KNOW, an what i just showed you, anybody wanna take a stab at OP questions before i give my answer.

Alright, since no one else is going to take a stab at what Al Audi just mentioned, I'll take a chance.

So the way that I understand it is that Asians have the highest total and bioavailable testosterone in that study, but free testosterone is converted into estrogen by aromatase enzymes into estrogen, thereby negating it's muscle-building properties.

Now, the way I perceive testosterone is that it promotes muscle growth and as a result, people with high levels of testosterone should have an advantage in muscle growth. So, does the aromatase thing mean that because Asians (having the highest total and bioavailable testosterone) are just not using it to their fullest advantage or does that mean there needs to be something that inhibits the aromatase in order to utilize all the testosterone?

And what I mean by utilizing testosterone to their fullest advantage would mean not lifting enough volume to stimulate muscle hypertrophy and not eating enough to regenerate muscle tissue (some individuals just have insanely high metabolisms and need to eat an insane amount of calories in order to build muscle).

I've never heard of this aromatase/testosterone relationship prior to today, so I'm rather curious to know your answer, Al Audi. Thanks for sharing that knowledge.

I noticed most Asians dont get super huge but lean, cut, compacted muscles (ie b.lee, m.pac)if they're the type to workout. It's rare you'll see a huge lesnar-like ones. Yushin Okami is !+*$+@@ huge tho for Japanese.   Champion Chinese olympic bodybuilders r pretty yoked.
