I work with the guy who is the laziest person I’ve ever seen in life. Like he has to have nudes of the director or something bc he sucks so bad at his job. It’s super annoying too bc he makes everyone else’s job harder bc we have to pick up his slack.
This guy has been here for 7 years so maybe that explains why he has the pull but apparently he’s always been this terrible since day 1.

Never considered quiet.. calm and collected, yes. Unbothered, yes. I was on a team with mostly women, about 18 of us. Me, a Hispanic dude and a gay dude, and a man late 30s white guy. I was cool with every single one of them, including all the women. However, all of them hated each other and talked behind each other’s back. Assuming they did the same to me, I never gaf, period. But the drama, yea, I’d listen and observe.
we we’re all probably too close for comfort, worked together through divorces, child births, marriages, etc. As they say, in a lot of job you spend more time with coworkers than your own family.

I would be surprised if those issues you listed contributed to the drama. I bet some people let their lives affect how they operate in the workplace

I work with a bunch of dudes so really the only drama we have is trash talking or sometimes you got the “cool” guys looking down on the new guys who don’t really know that much.
like if a group of guys is sitting around trash talking someone I just walk away and do my own thing. I’m just here to have a chill time and make some money and go home.
like a lot of guys will talk trash to the foreman about this and that but they forget they have to work around 10 guys lives and manage the project we are doing that day and everything else. It’s not that easy, just help out instead of being a ****.
