I've always wondered if Jordan would ever coach in the league. His competitive fire would always make his team play hard. Since he hasn't proved to bea great GM, dont you guys think that he would make a better coach?

Preach.. its why Magiv didnt do well in his stint. You cant make today's players play the way you did because you think its the right way....Originally Posted by BullsRepeat3Peat
no. his lack of patience and his competitiveness would get in the way. You somewhat saw it with the Kwame Brown incidents in Washington. Basically he'll want to suit up and play......... Don't forget he broke the TV in his office watching the Wizards get blown out several years back. But if he can transfer his knowledge and intelligence to his players then he might do good. But you can't teach competitiveness. Great players don't always equal great coaches, as Isiah Thomas is showing in NYC these days........

Yeah I would say the same thing larry was the only person to do a good job and MJ would get too hotheaded at halftime and after game it wouldn't doany good for any team especially if they were strugglingOriginally Posted by parasight21
as much as I respect him. NO. NO. NO.
Magic Johnson was a terrible coach, too.
I don't know how many 'superstar' players acutally did a good job coaching. only person I could think of is Larry Bird.
