Would you circumsize your son?

Most people I know are scared to get sterilized and that is said to be painless. But to go through a procedure that is obviously painful, I don't think you would have many takers.

My cousin had a son last week and he cried for 2 hours straight after getting cut. Not a baby cry, but an all out scream.

2hrs of screaming>a lifetime nasty infectious foreskin. your definitely looking out for ya lil man in the end

For sure man!!! I just found out my girl is prego, and if its a boy, he is getting snipped for sure! I don't know how people could even think about notdoing it. If you don't, he will be at risk for infections and other health problems if its not cleaned properly. For me, its not a choice, its manditory...

i'd do it because he will thank me later.

it's all preferences but from my experience, ive found most girls dig it more than that uncircumcised mess

it's also neater/more hygenic

Why would you?

The US is about the only Western country that does it routinely (for no other reason than habit) nowadays.

The 'getting picked on at school' is a stupid argument too. What sort of weirdoes go around taunting peole about their todger - kids have many morethings that they will get teased about.

I'll disagree with the majority and say that I probably wouldn't have him cut. Why? I don't see a legitimate reason to. We're all born with itand to have your son go under the knife, albeit a minor surgical procedure, seems entirely unnecessary for purely cosmetic reasons. It's not like your kidis going to be walking around in public with it out for everyone to see. And females? I've never encountered one with a negative view on uncircumsized.Honestly, they think all penises are ugly

I hope no one brings up the argument that it's somehow cleaner to be cut because that's simply not true.

How is simply untrue if one has a blob of skin that can trap bacteria and stuff and one.....doesnt?

it's called personal hygiene. are you saying you don't wash yourself daily even if you are cut? I feel awkward even having toask this question. This is common sense. If you're a dirty mother *+!$*%, you're a dirty mother *+!$*% and you'll get burned, foreskin or not.

plus, that has to be the worst look in the world. i'd be so embarassed to show my junk to a girl if i wasn't circumcised

Yes I would. Why is this even a question, we're not in 19th century times.

The longer you wait to get him circumcised, the more it's gonna hurt your son.

if you circumsize your kid then they wont have a chance for that phimosis garbage.

dudes wont be able to smash without pain if they get that **%!.

no way im going teach him how to clean him self.
how do you even stroke with out the foreskin seems painful.
uncircumcised FTW.

I would have it done.

I had mine snipped in my teens and damn did it hurt like hell afterwards. I remember it hurt to pee, it hurt when it moved, it hurt wearing some slimmer jeans(I wore baggy *$* jeans to cover up all the gauze). But it is way easier to clean and keep clean circumsized than not. I say do it now to avoid doing it laterwhen you may have to because of infections from dirt and while he can't remember the pain.

dudes in here talking about teenage circumcisions? what the hell? it's better to have it done as soon as you're born because no teenager is trying tosit through all of that pain when it could've been done 14 years prior. i feel sorry for the turtlenecks in this post.

from a sexual viewpoint:
thats like owning your son from the get go..."hey son, i know you might have sex eventually, but you're only allowed to feel 60% of it, chump. also, one of the main reasons i put you through unbearable pain is because i fell to peer pressure. your mom and NT said everyone else was doing it, so i had to playalong, i didn't have the strength to protect you, even though im your father."

anyways, here's link on circumcised vs uncircumcised and its relation to sex:
http://www.cirp.org/library/sex_function/

most of these kids on here honestly don't know what they're advising you besides the fact that your son should be like them

Kinda wanted to give you a glimpse of the otherside as everyone is defending for circumcision, but the sexual advantages seem greater when uncircumcised. However, the medical risks may offset your desire to keep your son uncircumcised.

I tried to do some research and provide you with some links, but it's pretty difficult to find an un-bias site.

At the end of the day, it's your son. You, of anyone should be making the decision, and not your wife because she doesn't have a penis (unless shedoes, that's cool too, kinda.) You just have to weigh the benefits and risks. Maybe you want to keep your son the way God made him, or take the Jew plungeand put him under the blade.

If i were to have a son, personally, I would take this into heavy consideration because my main priority as a father is to protect my children from all painand suffering.

Just cause I don't want to risk any health problems with my boy...I will.

Even though I wouldn't want to.

My mother didn't have me snipped for her personal religious reasons. She was like "God made you that way." Even though my father is, Iwasn't. Weird right.

I never saw any reason to argue with her. Or to snip myself. My girl didn't ever want me to either.

PLUS...it's gotta hurt !!!

Yes, and I would do it when he's still a baby and not like my parents who decided to circumcise me at age 13.

Waits for the flaming.
