I don't know about the stereotypical stuff, but I genuinely enjoy doing things that are traditionally feminine oriented.

Cooking is one of my favorite things, especially after turning vegetarian.

Cleaning is very rewarding too. Wifey comes home after I cleaned some stuff up and she's impressed.

Naw, it would destroy the marriage. Women love to talk about how they got it, especially with their GF's. Imagine when they bring up the topic of "what does your man do?" A minority of woman won't care about having a house-husband, but the rest will want to show their girls that they found a goodone, that loves them and can provide for them. It's not only her friends, it can be her family. Then resentment begins to play and she will think "you as a man, not holding your own weight." And, Tadow how you like me now, she will listen to her family and friends on looking for a NEW man that canprovide love and security. Yes we can say love conquers all, but the reality of it is that this generation is fueled with the option of the next best thing.That's why I'm looking for a young woman with an old soul that can ride with me through the good times and hard times.

so clearly this post wasnt about the female aspect on this situation. we are talking about the male aspect of this situation. but i do agree thatthis is what the majority of the women in our society would do.

But if you can find a girl that is okay with making more money than you do & she doesnt hold it over your head & use it against you, then you havefound yourself a truly great girl in that aspect.

I would even say it is in the GENES, Woman look to a man as a provider. I think there is only one type of species of male that take care of thekids and that's the sea horses( I got random facts in me, brother.) But from my experience at being 29 and talking to 35- 52 year old men that I workwith. Women like being embraced by their men through love and security. Yes, LOVE is great, but if you don't match up to par with her, not only will herfriends or family take offense to it but over time, she will too. It's RARE. But we are talking about HOUSE-HUSBANDS here. That must mean these dudes bringin no kind of income , but they do cook, clean, and take care of the kids.That's a job that is tough BTW, I've taken care of 4 nieces and nephews andboy they drove me crazy for 4 hours. However, in the end, taking care of kids doesn't bring in that money and the person making that money will resent itand demand more, male or female.

i would ahve absolutely no problem with staying home, taking care of the kids, doing all of the housework,
as long as i had a part time consulting job of some sort.

Just because you want to be the bread winner in the relaitonship doesnt mean other people arent willing to live with it the other way around

I swear, you can write a movie script and makes millions laugh on what this man just wrote. It's going against the grain of what normalgenders r suppose to do. I 1/2 jokingly.... but more so 1/2 seriously, good luck finding a women who would actually DO that scenario.... I'm going to go out on a limb and sayit'd be hard to come by.
And I'd know from personal experience seeing as that's one of the reasons my parents got divorced....
