I had a roommate freshman year who didn't have a computer, he asked if he could use it to write a paper. Cool.

I was never in my room because the first few weeks I was getting wasted or doing drugs, and to be honest, I could count the amount of times I slept in my ownbed on my hands. The room was getting a little messy, but I didn't really care until I was never there. That is, until I started looking at my computer andseeing that the history was constantly being cleared. Then basically everytime I would come home and he was there, he would be sitting at my desk on thecomputer. Besides that, dude was watching Lifetime constantly and singing Gospel tunes all the time, which didn't REALLY bother me, but it was my TV, and Ilike my quiet. Basically I was about ready to quit, and then I walked in one day and he was on my computer, and he closed the window real fast, and then apop-up came up and it was a dude stroking his bird. Game over.

I didn't even say $#%*. I went to the RD, told him that I needed to get out of there ASAP and I moved in with my boy downstairs, and didn't say $#%*.He came home one day and saw that all my $#%* was gone and I was just bringing down my sneaker boxes, and I said, "Oh yeah, I changed rooms." Ibarely said a word to him for the rest of the time I saw him, but he never was mad because I think he knows that I know his little secret.

The thing about switching rooms is that you don't know what you are going to get. He is a good roommate otherwise. What happens if you switch and you getsomeone who smells great but is a jerk. B.O can be fixed, poor social skills no so easy. It's just a matter of if you are willing to take that chance.
