I knew the DVD was going to be biased. nWo shirt was tempting, but I'll just borrow the DVD from a friend just to see it. I loved WCW too. Cluster**** mainevents aside, the mid cards and cruiserweights were amazing. It was too bad that the company kept pushing the nWo and overlooked everyone because when the nWobecame stale, there was nobody credible left to push and the company became a big joke. Sounds like Raw these days.

Vince is a damn idiot because if just kept his ego in check, he could have left WCW as it's own brand, nixed Smackdown, and moved Nitro over to Thursdays.There would still be two world champions and talent would be evenly distributed via draft and/or trades. Same thing could have been done with ECW. It wouldsort of be like the brand split is now, only it would make much more sense because all the brands would retain their own atmosphere, much like how the Americanand National Leagues are run. That's basically the wrestling equivalent of printing money.

And yes, I would cop WCW merchandise. Lots of it. nWo shirts aside, I'd definitely get a Monday Night Jericho shirt, along with some Four Horsemen gear.

Retrogearsolid, that would've been a brilliant idea. Vince's ego is so out of whack. I can understand wanting to pour a lil' dirt on WCW, but theycould've done what you did, and still thrived.

Sting is WCW. He was the franchise. Though its sad he didn't have a Vince McMahon down there to promote him etc. Wade Keller from PWTorch.Com wrote abrilliant piece about Sting a few years ago, about how he was in fact the franchise of WCW, but he didn't really reach the level of Steve Austin, The Rock,Hulk Hogan, nor Mick Foley. Sting does have classic matches and classic fueds on his resume (Rick Rude, Cactus Jack,) I'm gonna do some detective work, andpost that article.

Anyone going to Raw at the Garden on Nov 17 I believe? Its the blow off show before Survivor Series, Im expecting a big guest host and all 3 brands to bethere.

It's ridiculous that such a simple and obvious idea that could make so much money was overlooked because someone's ego was out of control. People sayVince is a genius, but I strongly disagree.

Speaking of Sting, has anyone ever seen this? This will forever blow my mind.

Sting's fued with Rick Rude/Dangerous Alliance in WCW was classic, and greatly underappreciated. Youtube that.

I'm thinking of going, but I don't know b/c Raw has been sucking as of late. Tickets go on sale tomorrow online btw. I'll have to think about itbefore I make the purchase.

Kurt Angle and Trenesha Biggers were in court today, for the protection from abuse order that Biggers filed against Angle. According to WTAE Channel 4 News in Pittsburgh, Angle is now allowed to return to his home, and ex-girlfriend Trenesha Biggers (TNA star Rhaka Khan) will not be allowed to reside there. Angle had the following comments on the situation…

"It's been about 10 days. I can't wait to get home. Thank God. She's out of my life. I will be exonerated. This girl obviously had some kind of motive. We'll see in court, whether it's financial or she wanted to be in a relationship that I didn't want to be in. I can't really say anything further."

Angle will be back in court on September 15th to face harassment charges against Biggers.

WPXI News out of Pittsburgh spoke with Trenesha Biggers. Biggers commented on her possible future with TNA, stating the following…

"I was told that by filing the PFA I was forcing them to choose between the two of us. I knew that when I filed it. I knew there was no way I was probably going to be able to work there anymore. I've forgiven so many times for what he's done to me, and I've been around him and been fine, but now, he's gone and slandered me. In the wrestling ring, you got to be able to trust the person you're working with and know that they're not going to hurt you."

Shawn Micheals was very dissapointed to the fact RAW writers, bookers and established talent have seemed to not put over ANY new talent that has beenintroduced to the brand since the last Draft. On theother hand Smackdown has seem to legitimized guys like Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison.

Randy Orton upset at Eugene:

Speaking at a SummerSlam promo, WWE Champion Randy Orton said Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore was released from the company as a result of weight issues.

"Eugene was just given a second chance," The Sun quoted Orton as saying. "He came back two weeks ago and came in a little heavy from where [management] wanted him to come in."

Orton said he was upset that he returned out of shape after he pulled some strings to get him his job back.

"Nick is a good friend of mine. I pulled some strings to get his job back and he comes back all overweight," Orton said. "So all in all, I am a little upset with right now with him."

Dinsmore returned as Eugene at a Smackdown live event in late July before appearing on the August 10th edition of Monday Night Raw in a "Contract On A Pole Match" against The Miz. He was let go the following Friday.

I remember that WCW Saturday Night, when Paul Heyman/Paul E. Dangerously had a draft for his Dangerlousy Alliance. Rick Rude, Bobby Eaton, Arn Anderson,Larry Zbysko, and Steve Austin.

An underrated stable.

I heart 4W.

Instead of calling Show and Jericho the Unified Tag Champs, just give them one set of belts, and call them the WWE Tag Team Champions.

I think WWE should also bring back War Games. "Survivor Series : War Games". Instead of a double ring, have it in a Hell in a Cell type structure.HHH has wanted to do that match, but Vince vetoed it. That's how much Vince doesn't like to give WCW props.
