"WWF World Champion Bob Backlund & Pedro Morales defeated WWF Tag Team Champions the Wild Samoans (w/ Capt. Lou Albano) in a Best 2 out of 3 falls match, 2-0, to win the titles at 13:06; fall #1: Morales pinned Afa at 9:49 with a roll up off the ropes; fall #2: Backlund pinned Afa after Morales dropkicked the opponent, with Backlund then falling on top for the win; Albano was escorted backstage by the NYPD after interfering during the second fall and slamming Morales on the floor; Backlund & Morales were later stripped of the titles as the rules stated a wrestler could not hold two titles at the same time."
