WWE Over The Limit PPV 5/18 8pm et- PUNK V BRYAN. Cena v Laurinaitis, Sheamus/Orton/Del Rio/Jericho

But seriously, can someone give me a run down to everything that happened BEFORE Punk/Bryan?

Glad I got home in time for the best match of the night, then wished I was still out as soon as it ended.

You guys need to give TNA a chance.  I really think they are getting ready to turn things around.  I'm really looking forward to them going live every week later this month.

Whoever was dumb enough to order this PPV.

As great as the Bryan/Punk match was (haven't watched it yet but I know it would be good and based on the comments from you guys I wasn't wrong) that alone can't justify a PPV purchase.

And I really didn't see that Big Show swerve coming.

I like how Laurinaitis lasted 20 seconds in the STF without tapping but Miz and other guys tapped out instantly.

Gonna watch the replay just for the Bryan/Punk match.

4w, as much as we want an alternative to wwe, u telling me that a company who cant even edit a taped show right, ends every match with interference and doesn't know whos a heel/face each week is going to get it right by going live?

Look... TNA still has a lot of problems, but I am optimistic. I have no idea why some of you fools are laughing at me when you take the time to sit through the bull**** that WWE puts on every week.

Right now there are great programs with AJ and Daniels. The Joseph Park stuff is great. Bully Ray and Austin Aries are awesome. The eventual Roode/Storm rematch will be great. We got Angle vs Joe this past week. I see a lot of positives right now.  Plus, TNA has legitimate long term planning and don't go changing plans everyday.

Catching up on this thread now, some random thoughts on the PPV

When Johnny Ace did his Booker T impression I almost died

I think the only questions I got wrong on that survey are who wins the diva, how many matches and who gets pinned in the fatal 4 way. Other than that I think I did pretty good if my memory is good.
Did anyone clock the D.Bry vs Punk match? I put 25 mins and over but I think it was close.

I hope with this new 3hr RAW I see Hunico and Kidd get a fued/push cause those guys are damn good in the ring.

@ when Yoshi went over the ropes, you can tell Drew knew he !%!+!% up.

I was gonna choose my usual 8 (chose 7) matches for a PPV and thought I was gonna be in the money when the D.Bry/Punk was over then I heard Hunico's music

Overall I enjoyed the PPV, even though the finish was extremely predictable I thought it was awesome watching that Cena fan looking surprised. They found this month's ditto guy for all the promos tomorrow.

As long as Eric Bischoff, Hogan, and Flair are still majorly active in TNA it's gonna feel like a WCW retirement home

hogan said if tna going live doesn't work, he will leave.

So former WWE creative member Dan Madigan recently gave an interview about his experience with the WWE produced film See Know Evil. Here's a small excerpt:

"I get a call from Gregory Dark, the director. He says, "We've got a little problem here." I said, "What's the problem?" He goes, "Vince has a suggestion about the movie." I said, "Well, it's his movie." He goes, "Vince wants this scene in the movie where Kane's character pulls out his penis, and he wants it to be three feet long." I thought there was a connection problem, I said "Greg, can you just back up and repeat that last line for me?" He goes, "Yes, Vince wants Kane's penis to be three feet long, and none of the producers are saying anything about it." So I sat there, I go, "Oh, this is not good. This is not good. This is really not good." In the right movie, that's genius, that's absolutely brilliant, but not for this movie."

He thought in the right movie it would be genius?

It'd have to be some weird horror porno.

- Punk/Bryan was good but I was expecting a little bit more, I thought it lacked a few big spots and could've used a better finishing sequence, maybe just a few more reversals while Punk was in the Yes Lock. But still it was good - ***3/4 for me. They better have more matches or I'll be pissed, but the set-up looks good for more.

- The 4-Way was impressive, well done finishing sequence. Nearly as good as Backlash 2007's.

- Enjoyed Christian winning as well, but completely fed up with Brodus and Ryberg and their %##$ squash matches! Take them off my T.V. Vince!!!

- Main event was painful to watch, why not just make it a short match-up??

- AJ was looking
