xbox 360 problem

my xbox 360 has recently stopped workin on the video. i still can hear the sound though. i switched tv but still the same problem. i bought new cables also butthe same. does anyone know whats wrong with it and i bought in 2007 does it still have warranty. thanks in advance.

Are you sure the switch on the cables is on the respective TV type. You can switch it between HD and regular video.

If not send it in or google your problem if no NTer can help you out.

Sorry to say it bro, but your most likely gonna get the 3 rrod. The most common e74 error. I know because last week same thing happened to me. The video justdoesnt show, when the audio is perfectly there right? Yeah and then after re-starting it a few times, I just simply got the Red rings. But no worries, I sentmine in to get it repaired.

Your GPU (graphics processor (sp?) unit) probablly failed. This happened to me. Look on craigslist and you can probablly find someone nearby that does 360repairs. I got mine repaired for $40 as opposed the $100 M$ was charging.

your xbox overheated n since ur xbxo is from 2007 that means its still built with the x clamp which makes it easier for the system to overheat. what happen isthat the paste they used to put parts together has melted n damaged the processor so wat u can do is shell out 5 dollars and buy a xbox repair kit and fix ityourself. i fixed mine 7 months ago but it broke again after a month, its easy to fix if you have all the right tools and there is a youtube video showing youstep by step or you can google x clamp mod
